Western Wedding Cakes

Nowadays, people decide to have a theme wedding. But, if do have a special theme at your wedding, every little detail has to be in accord with it. Themed cakes are always popular for any wedding. Western weddings are today very appreciated and many couples decide for this wedding theme. But a western wedding will have to have a stylish western wedding cake also.

If you want to reflect the Old West, your cake should be made using a home recipe, rather than a modern one. You can also make a normal white wedding cake and decorate it with ceramic western bride and groom figurines, or other figurines, but with a western look. So, if you prefer the more traditional cake look, you can still create country western style wedding cakes from this traditional look by adding personalized details.

For example, the wedding cake can have a metal triangle hung nearby that you can ring when it is time to serve the cake and so keep the theme, without buying a special cake. It can also have a western-style cake knife and server set. The cake can be backed in many shapes and still reflect your wedding theme. For example, it can have the shape of a cowboy hat or horseshoe and it can decorated to look almost real.

- The cake can be brown and it can have two tiers. It can be decorated with different western designs and saddle wedding cake topper. At the end it can be garnished with red roses or carnations.
- Another idea for a western wedding cake can make the impression of a farm. The cake can have two or three tiers and be decorated to have the look of a cow hide print.

- The wedding cake can be made with an hexagon style, having three tiers. It can be made in a combination of brown and white and it can be decorated with fondant cow hide. It can be garnish with a cowboy hat, cowboy boots, wagon wheels or horse heads.

hi. you think I could find someone in Vegas to make me this kind of cake? I like the first one, the only chocolate made cake and the most I like the boots. I’ll have the photo printed and go and ask every single chef in town if the can make this for me. With he boots next to it, of course. I know that wedding cakes are usually white, because of the symbolism and the rest. But I love chocolate cakes and I find this one particularly special. Moreover since the wedding theme is, of course, westerns. So hat, belts and boots need to be there. Maybe even a gun?! Yeah, that would be another idea. Or might be just too much. We’ll see about guns, but the rest is OK.
