Richmond is the capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the United States. The Richmond city is located at the fall line of the James River in the Piedmont region of Virginia. The city has one of the oldest municipal park systems in the country known as Monroe Park. Several parks are located on along the James River and the James River Parks System offers scenic overlooks along the river’s route through the city. There are also two major islands in the river: Belle Isle and Brown’s Island.
Two other major parks in the city are Byrd Park and Maymont, located near the fan district of Richmond. Byrd Park will be a beautiful setting for your outdoor wedding ceremony it has a number of small lakes for small boats, as well as two monuments, Buddha house, and an amphitheater. Maymont Park will also provide beautiful setting for your outdoor wedding ceremony it is a Victorian estate with a museum, formal gardens, native wildlife exhibits, nature center, carriage collection, and children’ s farm. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is located on 80 acres (320,000 m2) and has a glass conservatory, a rose garden, a healing garden. It is a popular place for outdoor wedding ceremonies in Richmond.
Other parks in the city are Joseph Bryan Park Azalea Garden, Forest Hill Park, and Chimborazo Park. If you like something unique for your wedding and you love art you have choose one of the museums such as Valentine Richmond History Center, the Virginia Historical Society, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Richmond Symphony, and the Richmond Ballet, The Byrd Theatre in Carytown. The Mill at Fine Creek located in Historic District; it is an enchanting setting for your wedding. It is a beautiful country setting located just 20 minutes from the Short Pump area and only 8 miles west of Route 288 off historic Huguenot Trail.
You can choose a waterfront complex in Richmond with some of Virginia most spectacular natural and man-made settings. It has three different reception venues all with magnificent views of the 1700 acre Swift Creek Reservoir. Historic Mankin Mansion it’s a historic marvel wedding resort located just minutes from downtown Richmond. Dellwood Plantation it’s a beautiful Chesterfield Historical landmark, which includes six acre formal wedding garden. They have 525 foot stone walkway built, and a garden with its arbor’s and fountain.
The Country Club at The Highlands is a beautiful setting for the wedding of your dreams which combines the natural beauty of colonial Chesterfield, Virginia with a legendary course layout to create captivating vistas. Hanover Arts and Activities Center is the perfect setting for a unique romantic wedding. Built in 1859 Hanover Arts and Activities Center, the center has charm and character to make your wedding memorable. The 12-foot windows, old glass, wooden floors, and lovely chandeliers will captivate you. Westwood Club is also a good option for your wedding reception. The Boathouse is a perfect setting for your wedding ceremony and reception, the views are stunning. You can have waterfront garden ceremonies and receptions which will be memorable.
I’ve seen you began a series of articles unrelated to Vegas. I find it quite nice. In this way, if a bride and groom want to have a destination wedding they have other choices in mind. I would have liked some links to vendors or hotels in these articles, but still it’s good to see that there are other places where you can have a beautiful wedding. Places that are more natural than Vegas and more beautiful than this city. It may be that the other places are not as extravagant as Vegas but I think they have their own charm. From here I like the idea of the amphitheater. I think it would be a great place for a very romantic and beautiful wedding. Or the park with the boats… These are nice ideas for destination weddings.
