A wedding involves the emotional part, regarding grooms unification according to state laws and religious side, but also imagination and inspiration part, regarding the wedding planning. Decorative items are crucial for such an event. Above this, each detail has to complete the spectacular and gorgeous aspect, even the wedding napkins. First and foremost, the wedding napkins have to match with your wedding theme and color. The tradition to have assorted napkins and representative for a specific event comes from ancient period: when a ball or a masquerade was organized the napkins were the label of the royal family. Nowadays, napkins add romanticism and remain as a symbol, or a memory for a certain event. How so? Because of their style. The new tendency is to use wedding napkins printed or personalized. In this way you will add uniqueness to your wedding. The options are various: napkins with grooms name on it or their initials, statements, images, the wedding date or even with the traditional “welcome”.

More than these, napkins arrangement means art, pretentious and minutious work. In other words, your wedding napkins can have a flower shape or a bird one. Apart from this, you can add each and every guest name and save money regarding siting cards you need for each and everyone invited. Furthermore, as I was saying, the napkins chosen have to be the same color your whole wedding decorations. But you can also choose to make a contrast. The effect is that you boost their decorative importance and aim, as they bring joy and inspire the whole embellishment.

But, you can receive a discount if you choose napkins printed with a single color or if you buy a big amount.

In case you think this is exaggerate then you can choose classic type of napkins, colored as your wedding theme. But they have no style and it may take you some time to find what you want, due to the fact that normal napkins have no various colors combination. All in all, a famous quote says that “Little things make our life beautiful and life is all about little things.” I believe this is representative for the wedding napkins. They are in fact just a detail, but with main representative for your wedding decorations. Something original, fancy and romantic at the same time.

You are so right about napkins. These so little and so often omitted things are very charming at a wedding. I was at different weddings before, but until my brother’s wedding last year, I couldn’t see the difference. My sister in law organized every little detail of the wedding, with very little help, and I was amazed when I saw napkins on her list, very close to the top. We had a small talk about it that ended in: “You’ll see.” And we all saw. Although a traditional wedding, the napkins on the table were so amazingly displayed. She chose a darker shade of orange, not very bright, and made some flowers out of them. I asked her to teach me to do those as well, as they looked great. You have some great ideas here, as well.
