Wedding Decorations

Nowadays people decide to do a wedding with a particular theme. If you do so, you have to know that the bride’s dress, the groom’s costume, the party and the general wedding decoration have to be according to that theme.

At the church, at the restaurant or the place where the party is going to be held, you will need to place flowers, ribbons and other white decoration. Another important aspect is the bride’s bouquet. It has to be suitable and fitted to the wedding dress and the bride’s personal wish.

But despite flowers and ribbons, the wedding decoration means a lot of work. You may want to turn to a professional decorator who can do all the hard work for you. But if you want to do it yourself, or to be the person responsible with the event organization, here are some tips you may use.

For example, at the church, you can cover in white the walls and the banks. You can also cover with a white carpet the way the bride is going to walk to the altar. At every chair has to be placed at least one flower at a color that is adequate to the design and the other arrangements. For example, if the color you choose is white, the flowers should be red, orange, yellow, pink or violet. If you like pink and you want the ribbons to have that color, the flowers should be white.

At the restaurant you should keep the same color theme you used at the church. It is very important to maintain elegance and style on both locations. The tables also should be covered with a tablecloth the same color as the ribbons in the church. Tablecloths are usually white. The ribbons here can have also the same color, but if like you can give them another shade. The dance scene must be decorated as well. At a wedding, people usually dance a lot, so they have to feel really good on the scene. However, you shouldn’t full it with balloons.

Despite this idea you can use a red carpet, seat covers, bow chairs, tablecloths, drapery columns, floral arrangements, entry arches, decorative columns, stairs with tulle and flowers, installations of lights and curtains, curtain lights, string light and tulle, wrought iron candlesticks, candles vases, torches, festive glasses, a chocolate waterfall or pigeons.

Choosing wedding decorations is a very important step in organizing the event. Color, shape, type and location, all must be in perfect harmony. Gold, claret, milling, green or purple are just some of the colors you can use or combine for decorations. The most important thing is that you like it and that your guests feel good in the location you have chosen.

Decorations. I’ve never seen, at the weddings that I’ve attended something really great concerning decorations. Usually only balloons and flower arrangements on the tables. Sometimes not even that. So I want something out of the ordinary for my own wedding. Nothing that I couldn’t find on the internet, but more than my guests would expect, at least. So I’m still looking for ideas and from what I’ve read, it’s not easy. But my wedding is going to be very traditional so I think some flower arrangements would be perfect. But I also imagine some silk ribbons around the flowers that will nicely flow on the tablecloth. Something really soft and fluid.
