Wedding Congratulations

Even if you might not be able to attend to a friend’s wedding, you will want to send him some words to express your best wishes and congratulate the groom and the bride. The wedding congratulations are not easy to be selected and you might find it difficult to write these wishes into your own words as well.

There are some standards to be followed when you choose the perfect wedding congratulations. These are the basic standards to be followed:

You can write a poem or quotation at the beginning or the end of your letter.
-If your relationship with the grooms is friendly, you can even write your letter in a humorous way as well.

-The good advices upon love, or even thoughts about marriage and love and how they make their way into our lives, are a good example to be written in the wedding congratulations letter.

-You can always write in the wedding congratulation letter your best wishes to the married couple, or your future hopes about their evolution as such.
- If you will not be able to attend the wedding ceremony it is imperative to write your apologies so to motivate your absence (try to be as sincere as possible).
-Make a wish about getting together after the wedding so that you can watch the wedding video or see the photos together.

You can also write down about the way in which you can help the grooms with the wedding preparations if you decide to send the letter before the wedding takes place. In the other circumstance, when you send the wedding congratulations after the wedding, you might also congratulate the grooms about the wedding cake that you have heard it was delicious, or the bride’s dress you heard it was fantastic, or any other aspect of the weeding you heard from rumors it was great.

Further on, I will actually give a list of congratulating words that might help you in making a wedding congratulations letter of your own:
-May your love bloom brighter and your companionship grow sweeter with each passing year. Congratulations on your wedding.
-May your marriage be filled with all the right ingredients: a heap of love, a dash of humour, a touch of romance, and a spoonful of understanding. May your joy last forever. Congratulations!
-Wishing both of you a world of happiness and joy on your wedding day.
-Your wedding day may come and go, but may your love forever grow. Congratulations to the perfect couple!
-Wishing you both the happily ever after you deserve. Congratulations on your wedding day!
-Congratulations to a beautiful couple. Wishing you a wonderful journey as you build your new life together.
-Through the storms of life, may your love for one another be steadfast and strong. Wishing you joy and happiness on your wedding day. Congratulations!
-Just a note to say how happy we are for you. Wishing you a lifetime of the greatest joy, love, and happiness. Congratulations to a wonderful couple!

One Response to Wedding Congratulations

It’s the first time I need to write wedding congrats. And I’m not very happy about it, since it’s one of my nicest friends getting married. But I want to write her something she’ll always remember. The major problem is that we are very different personalities. I’m the nonconformist type, the person who would like some very funny or witty congratulations, while she is the more conventional type. And I find it very difficult to sound natural while at the same time writing something she that would suit her personality. So I might just follow your advice, maybe use some of the congrats you wrote here and maybe inish with something funnier? Or, would it be appropriate to write her the conventional congratulations and also send her a funnier card?
