Wedding Chapels

It all starts with a proposal and an answer: “I do”. And then both of you must organize what it will be your dream day, the wedding. But the first step is to choose the date and the church and even deciding this can create you troubles.

First and foremost, one has to choose the church where you went several times. This way you find it easier to speak with the priest and establish the things. Considering that this event means unification in God`s house if the church is one that you used to go to then nothing can be better. By this I mean that it is better to look for the church where you have your local priest.

Apart from this, regarding what church to choose for your wedding religious ceremony you have to include the distance. You ease your work if you choose a church near to your wedding location. Your guest will not waste time and energy looking for it and also you save yourself from a lot of stress.

Moreover, as your wedding location the church you choose must also be decorated. Needless to say that here things are not so sophisticated, but the bigger the church is more decorative arrangements you will need. Even though you need just flowers and candles the costs will be higher if the church is grandiose. Consequently, take into consideration a chapel. Of course, everything has its complications and so, choosing a wedding chapel depends on your guests number.

Not to mention that you have to pay a sum of money for your wedding chapel or church. As the tradition says that the godparents have to pay it you have to clarify every detail regarding this subject from the first moment you have chosen the location.

Furthermore, the church will be your criteria when it comes to the date. Take into consideration that summer season is full of such events so that most of the churches and chapels will not be available. As for a winter wedding be careful on the hour, due to the fact that the days are shorter and even 5 pm is too late.

Apart from this, under no circumstances you can marry in fast periods. All these considered, you must look after a chapel at least half a year before the event.

To put it in a nutshell, the religious ceremony for a wedding is all about spirituality. But, this does not mean that you cannot be selective and choose the one that matches your preferences: a modest chapel or an imposing church for a pompous ceremony. But many of these ideas depend on your religion, tradition and last but not the least important on your preferences regarding your wedding and its planning.

One Response to Wedding Chapels

I prefer churches. They might be bigger than the number of guests, sometimes, but they are nicer and I think a little bit more spiritual than the chapels. Of course that not necessarily the building is important, but the minister or the priest and the type of ceremony conducted in these institutions. That’s another why I like churches. I feel like the wedding ceremony in churches is more filled with substance and spirituality. I feel closer to God when I am in a church than when I am in a chapel. So I would choose a church for my wedding and I would be more than happy to go through all the rituals that make me feel closer to God.
