Wedding Announcements
The first thing you should know is that wedding announcements are run three or two months before the wedding date and the ones that write them are the bride's family. When the wedding announcement is done, the next thing you should do, as the bride's family, is that you should talk with the groom's family if they want to have the wedding announcement post it in their town as well. If the answer is affirmative and usually it is, you should send the wedding announcement to the newspaper from the groom's town.

A lot of families want to be creative and to use their imagination, but be careful when you chose the newspaper because not all newspapers give you this chance. When choosing a newspaper you have to be really careful and to check if they have a standard way of posting wedding announcements of if it's your job to write it and to write it good. So check the newspaper that you plan to submit your wedding announcement to. They might want you to complete, to fill in some forms with all the names and the dates and after this they will post your wedding announcement automatically. So if you want to have an unique wedding announcement you should chose a newspaper that will give you this chance.
Here is an example of a wedding announcement:
Mr. and Mrs.name, tow, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss name, to Mr. name, son of Mr. and Mrs name, also of town, county. The wedding is planned in July.
Miss name is a graduate 1999 from the University of Name, Town, County, and works for Name.

Writing the wedding announcement for your daughter can be a great responsibility. You have to think about everything but don't forget to keep it simple. As complicated you will make it as hard it will be to understand it. Wedding announcements are great way of letting all the world know that you are going to get married. Do it your way and smile when people will congratulate you on the street.
