Tom Welling Wedding

Tom Welling is a famous American actor, born in New York in April 1977. Most known because of the main role of young Superman in the serial “Smallville”, the 33 years old actor also played in movies such as “Cheaper by dozen” both part one released in 2003, and part two, released in 2005.




At a press conference regarding the first part of the movie, held in December 2003, Tom stated saying that he accepted the role for three reasons: Steve Martin; Steve Martin; and Steve Martin. Tom also said that the he has always been a fan of Steve Martin and it has been a great opportunity for him to actually work with the actor.

Before becoming an actor, Tom started with a modeling career. In 1998, when he was working in Florida, he met his future wife, Jamie A. White, who was also a model. They met in a coffee shop. In 2000, Tom moved to Los Angeles and there he started going to auditions for a part in a movie. Although he still had success as a model he decided to give up that career and start to think more seriously about becoming a real actor. The same year he got a role in the drama series “Judging Amy”. After that came the role in “Smallville”, that actually lunched his career.

Tom Welling wedding to Jamie took place on 5th of July 2002 at Martha’s Vineyard, in a private ceremony attended only by close friends and family. They just wanted a simple, small wedding. At the event were invited also Tom’s scene colleges, co-stars on Smallville: Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum. At Tom’s request Michael performed a special rendition of the Van Morrison hit, ‘Brown-Eyed Girl’. However, their wedding seems to have been perfect, although as Tom wrote on his personal page, it meant a lot of planning and dealing with many things regarding the event organization. Unfortunately, because it was a private event, we do not have other details about their wedding.

However, the fact is that Tom Welling wedding was, at least till know, the right choice. There are not many couples that manage to stick together, but they did. After eight years, Tom and Jamie are still married and they are quite happy, at least that is what they say. Maybe in the future Tom will have a great breakthrough in the movie making business and will get a main role in a big budget film. Anyway he is a talented actor and his role as Superman was quite appreciated and not only by the movie fans. However, Tom succeeded both in his acting career and in his marriage, which seams that is going to fast forever.
