Second Wedding Ideas

Getting married, the second time it’s a great opportunity and events. Give it as more credit as you gave to your first time around. Make this wedding your first and don’t make your groom to be to feel weird because you are thinking about your last marriage. Be as new and as fresh as it can get. I’m going to try to give you some useful second wedding ideas.

Maybe the first marriage wasn’t exactly as you wanted, maybe some things didn’t work out. Well now its your new chance to plan a new wedding day, a dream wedding day, your second wedding. You shouldn’t care at all what others think, it’s your wedding day not theirs. It’s your new chance to happiness and you should take advantage of it as much as you can.

Even if you have  been married before, even if this is the second wedding, your second time around, it’s the first time when you get married with your groom to be.  Treat this day as your first time, because it is the first time when you get married to each other in this situation.  A second wedding doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy yourself.  Don’t worry about little things and truly enjoy yourself.  Think that you are lucky to be having a second wedding and to find a person who appreciates you for what you are. You know what is said, life is short and you have to fully live it.

Usually people that have second weddings, have kids from previous marriages. The best idea for you is to involve you kids into the wedding ceremony. make them feel that this is their wedding as much as yours. Let them walk you to the aisle, let them be the ring bearer, let them come up with invitation words, give them roles that will make them feel important and loved.  It’s very important for them to feel as part of the family, so they won’t feel like loosing their mum or dead. Think about this before deciding they will be just usual attendants.

Second wedding doesn’t mean you should have it in a big way. I’m sure there are going to be well meaning persons that will tell you that a second bride shouldn’t ware white, shouldn’t have a big reception, shouldn’t go on a honeymoon etc. This doesn’t matter at all. You don’t have to do what it’s proper to be done, you have to do what you want to do and what you feel you should do. If you want to have a big party, if you want to wear a white gown or to feel special. You should do this especially if for one of you it’s the first time, so he/she has the best rights to the big deal. Don’t let others to decide for you or to convince you of what’s good to do with your second wedding, it’s your. You are paying for it so you should decide for yourself.
