The wedding is one of the most important moments in the life of every future bride. For a perfect wedding you have to find the perfect dress. But, a dress can be seen as perfect differently by every girl. A wedding dress defines you and it can say, without words, what type personality you have. A classic wedding dress can never be a bat choice, but if you want something special, you should look at the dresses that used to be liked.

In the medieval times, women were seen as full of femininity, sensitivity and in constant need protection. The dresses they wore usually gave us that impression. Maybe that is way those times had such a different charm for us.

If you like medieval times and have chosen that as the theme of your wedding, then the dress must be in agreement with that option. You can try to give your dressmaker some ideas of what is you dream wedding dress.

Here are some elements you can use for inspiration.

The classical medieval wedding dress you can first think of is the Cinderella dress. If you loved the Cinderella story you will surly love this dress too. You can use a velvet bodice that is made by combining baroque style, white embroidery with pearls and a lot of beads. You can make it white if you want to keep the traditional wedding dress color, but you can also use some gradient shades of blue or maybe pink.

Another idea is to have a wedding dress decorated with French lace, just a little rough, element that give it such a special attitude. The material you choose can be velvet, which gives the dress a royal air. This kind of dress is ideal especially for a reception that takes place outdoors. Also, the same style of dress may be of silk-satin, a material more easily to wear and also modern, giving the bride an innocent appearance.

The rose bud gown is another type of medieval wedding dress you can wear. This is an absolutely charming model. The dress has got a hand-embroidered velvet bodice, a lace around the edges and shows an incredibly femininity. However, the skirt is very special, because its design style manages to capture the elegant bell. This kind of dress has a unique style.

For a unique dress you can try to combine many other elements that can give you elegance, femininity and innocence. The most important thing when you choose a wedding dress that is based on a theme like the medieval times is to be matching the dress with the grooms costume and the general party concept. Although the medieval wedding dresses are beautiful, you wouldn’t like to be the only one dressed according to those times.

I am going to plan my wedding in VEgas and to theme it Medieval Times. This idea came to my mind after reading so many of your articles here. I thought about the different types of weddings you proposed in your articles and finally I thought this is the best one for me. It fits my personality, my desires, my everything. I read a lot about being able to rent this type of dress in VEgas, but I do want to look beforehand for one, and not only that, but to learn more about accessorizing it and the like before going there and do it. I know I might get help there, but I like getting informed and making the right choices without hasting.
