May you have all the happiness and luck that life can hold. And at the end of all your rainbows may you find a pot of gold.
Wishing you a rainbow, For sunlight after showers. Miles and miles of Irish smiles, For golden happy hours. Shamrocks at your doorway, For luck and laughter too, And a host of friends that never ends, Each day your whole life through!
Here’s to you and yours and to mine and ours, And if mine and ours ever come across you and yours, I hope you and yours will do as much for mine and ours, As mine and ours have done for you and yours!
Long live the Irish! Long live their cheer! Long live our friendship, year after year!
May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light, May good luck pursue you each morning and night.
May there be a generation of children, On the children of your children.

If you lie, lie only to keep a friend/If you cheat, may you cheat death/If you steal, steal your lover’s heart/If you drink, drink deeply of the joy of your new life together/Here’s to you both a beautiful pair/On the birthday of your love affair/Here’s to the husband and here’s to the wife/May they be lovers the rest of their life. You can find many more irish wedding toasts examples on the internet. Or if you want you can make your own speech for wedding toast and be original. The guest will notice this and it will be a plus for you and your wedding.
My sister is going to get married soon and I need to toast in her honor. I know she is in love with the Irish music, dance and legends. I remember when I was in Ireland a few years ago I had to come back with a legend. Now I want to surprise her and make an Irish toast. I tried to find some that would fit her personality as well. She is a little bit of a romantic but still a funny person and I want the toast to have these features as well. But I want something not very long, nor too short. maybe something like you have here, the one that refers to all those Irish symbols of luck and happiness. I think that would be the best.
