How To Word A Wedding Announcement
When getting married on of the most important things to do is to find the right
wedding announcement wording samples so you can send letters to the ones that couldn’t attend the amazing event, in this way you will be able to share your joy of your nuptials with all your friends and family.
Usually wedding announcements are used to share the joy of your wedding with people that couldn’t attend the even or with the ones that you couldn’t invite. A lot of couples chose to send wedding announcements to distant relatives or friends who couldn’t come due to all kinds of reasons. It’s not necessary to send wedding announcements to people who were already invited to the event but they chose not to come. They know about the event, about the date so they don’t need an extra announcement to remind them again. Another good reason to send wedding announcements is if the new married couple chose to change its address, in this way all the friends and the family will know the new address.

In a
wedding announcement, you can write whatever you want and however you want. Beside, you can find tips about wording wedding announcements online and they probably made books about it as well. Anyway, there are certain details that should be included in a
wedding announcement:
- Wedding Date – everyone has to know the date of your so awaited event but also the date of the many anniversaries.
- Home Address – in this way your friends and family will be able to update their address books so they can contact you, to share wedding congratulations and wishes.
- Wedding location- you don’t need to write down the exact address of the wedding, but a lot of couples write the name of the resort, of the church or other specific information.
- Names – this is maybe the last but not the least detail you should include in your wedding announcements. In the wedding announcement need to be written the full name of the bride and the groom. You need to write down the full name because there may be attendants that don’t know both the bride and the groom.

The
wedding announcements should be send as soon as possible after the wedding. You should send wedding announcements especially if you chose to have a very private small, wedding. Even though you decide to have just some close friends at the ceremony, all the peoples that you know should be aware of the fact that now you are a married person.
The tone of wedding announcements is usually formal, but it depends who is getting the letters. If you send wedding announcements to the parents, both of the families, you should be quite formal in your wording. If you send wedding announcements to close friends you should be casual and friendly. A text like: Hey! We did it we finally tied the knot ! or From now on, you can call us Ms.and Mrs. husband and wife. Respect the formalities but also don’t forget to be creative when writing wedding announcements.

So good to know there is someone there who knows everything there is to know about weddings and wedding announcements. We’ve just decided we had a private, very small wedding, with just our parents and our sisters and brothers and in-laws. and so we need to let the others know that we got married and hopefully our friends won’t be too upset they weren’t invited. but we don’t want something very big as for us the most important moment is the wedding ceremony and so after the ceremony we are going to have a nice family dinner at a restaurant and that’s it.
