Las Vegas has always been known as a sin city. Its repute is close related to the craziness and wild life from there. In other words, it is considered an escapade, due to its nightlife especially. But beside this, when it comes about a couple getting married it is a romantic and spontaneous decision, so characteristic for Las Vegas.

A wedding in Las Vegas is a versatile subject. On the one hand, it is cheaper but if the grooms decide to get their parents and friends there the costs will overrun their budget. On the other hand, getting married without at least parents present is rudeness and egoism, as at least the family will like to see and be part of this special day.

No matter one’s decision it still has to organize everything. How to plan a Las Vegas wedding? There are two possibilities, each one with its options.

First it is the wedding to Las Vegas, properly. In this case, first of all one has to take some calls in order to establish a few things. Start with the accommodation, as several hotels offer special packages and especially for just married couples. One can receive a discount or a special offer if the wedding will take place in their hotel restaurant, or if the number of persons for whom you book a room is over 10. By this I mean that more customers for them bring you a noticeable discount.

The next step is to inform about the wedding license regarding the wedding ceremony. Grooms need to make a portfolio with several legal papers, so that you need to know very sure what to take with you. A single mistake and the wedding is canceled, as you have to fly back home for something. Beside this, it is not necessary to make a reservation for a chapel. There are numerously and available with no extra efforts. The good part is that some of them provide you the proper outfit, to rent them for the ceremony. It is needed just a visit to the specific chapel a couple of hours before the ceremony.

As for the wedding reception things are simple. Las Vegas provides you so many options that decorations are no longer needed. For example, if one chooses to have its wedding in the restaurant at the same hotel where the rooms are booked, the only concern is to choose the type of food and drinks.

The other option about how to plan a wedding in Las Vegas is to make it as our wedding theme. In other words, the wedding takes place in your home town and the theme is surely Las Vegas. But it requires so many things to do, as it is a complex style. All the decorations at the reception must be related to this city, as counters, playing cards for example, dices and the colors red, white or green. And to compel perfectly with your wedding decor the honeymoon destination can be Las Vegas.

The second option is more of what i have in mind and I think I will choose this variant over the first one. After all, I will have more than 50 guests and to bring them all to Vegas would be too much for my budget and for planning and all. But making a themed Vegas wedding would be so much fun and so much easier to plan. After all, everything is done with people from around, with caterers and vendors that you know better and with the help of those who know you very well and whom you can really trust. And then, the decorations and all the other things that would help making a Vegas atmosphere are easy to find all over the internet, so it’s pretty easy to get it done. Thanks for making me realize it is a good idea, after all.
