More and more people consider that Las Vegas is, without question, the wedding capital of the world. In a couple of years the City of Lights has become the shinning apple of the Nevada desert. Professional wedding planners, vendors and retailers in the business have decided to set up their companies for the audience this city has. It is not sure what exactly makes Las Vegas such a popular destination among couples of all ages. Not only the young decide to take the big plunge in the Sin City but also older couples who are getting married for the second time or having a wedding vows renewal. From helicopter to hot-air balloon wedding packages to a Venetian ceremony each and every idea you may have is carefully analyzed and planned. The list of Las Vegas themed weddings is also very long and varied. Basically, it is possible to be any type of character; every wedding facility tries to come up with original wedding packages. When it comes to pricing Las Vegas is extremely flexible. It does not matter if you want an intimate, modest ceremony or a fancy, five stars reception. A wise and experienced wedding planner will tell you what to do in each situation. You don’t need to worry about anything in this wedding planning scenario except about having fun.

For others it is a feeling of freedom that makes Las Vegas so attractive. In what other city you could get married in less than 24 hours and then start your honeymoon in a fancy casino? Not only that you can get Elvis to walk you down the aisle but at the end of the ceremony he will even make time to say a “happily ever after” and take a photo or two. The truth is that the wedding photo album will look great.
So, with all these thoughts in mind you may wonder: how many weddings does Las Vegas host? It would be fun to see the statistics about this phenomenon. This team has thought that maybe these statistics are actually fun to see. They have prepared a list called Stupid Facts about casinos, chapels, couples getting married or the amount of lighted neon stripping down the streets of the city. What exactly can you find out from this list? Well, for example that there are more than 36, 7 million visitors come to this city every year.

In the casinos more than 197,144 slots machines inviting you to spend all your fortune away. 87% of the visitors will end up gambling so there is no surprise casinos are so popular and important in this scenery. Now, for the question how many weddings does Las Vegas host?…the figures say that every day more than 315 couples get married in the city.

This is an average number of Las Vegas weddings. So, you make the calculations for the entire year. They are pretty impressive, aren’t they? To think that in different parts of the city so many couples are saying a clear, straight “I do” is pretty overwhelming. Are you in the statistics…present or future?
No. I don’t think Las Vegas is a city where I would have the type of wedding I wish. I looked into your site and I read some of the articles and my impression about the city didn’t change. It is a city with too many different features. It’s like it has no personality. Or it’s like a multiple personality case, so confusing. And regarding the weddings, especially the statistic you discovered, it’s a ….bad place for it. I mean, it looks like the wedding is done in such a hurry. And no wedding should be done as such. A wedding needs time to plan and perfect, and moreover the wedding day needs time to assimilate all those emotions everyone feel.

You can say that once more! The wedding capital, indeed! L.A. is expensive, but it worth all your money, all your effort to arrive there. I would choose L.A. for a beautiful bridal shower party and then, a not so expensive location for my wedding reception. The total cost? Well, 10.000 dollars I guess.
