While some vendors include gratuities in their fees, many will leave the amount of the gratuity wedding vendors up to you, and the level of service they provide can influence what you give them.



To get as many free services form wedding vendors as possible you should consider tipping your vendors. You may not be sure who should get a tip or how much is customary to tip. In some cases, tipping can be written in the contract you have signed with your vendors, that is way it is very important to know what you have signed and if the tip is optional or not. Some vendor contracts can automatically add a certain percentage to your bill to cover the customary standard gratuity.

However, the tip should not be bigger than 20 percent of the value of the contract for the restaurant rehearsal dinner. For the hairstylists and makeup artists the tip should be somewhere between 15 and 20 percent of your contract value and should be given once the service is complete. If you decide to rent a car to take you to the wedding ceremony and the wedding party, you should give them a tip of about 20 percent of the total cost.




So, on one side we can talk about the discounts you can get from your wedding vendors meaning the extra services that they can provide you for free, but on the other side we can consider that gratuities should be given to those who have preformed their duties and have done them exceptionally well and above your expectations, they are usually provided at the end of the night, usually in cash as tips. We can consider that things work as in a circle. If you are happy about your wedding and how thing turned out, you have to tip your vendors, but if you want to save as many money you can, form your wedding organizing you should search for offers and discounts that some vendors provide.

    as i see it here, nothing is for free and if you don’t want to elope but to move your guests in vegas you need to pay a real deal of money. c’mon who was so naive to think that weddings in vegas is cheap and affordable? only fools can think of that. i had high hopes and expectations but since i’ve read this article i make myself no hopes anymore. i will never have the money to go in vegas and get married having my family and friends with me. so better not bother to look for discounts and all the rest on the internet, then phone-calls and phone-bills and a visit in person there before everything is arranged. and then the wedding. too much of a headache, too much wasted money.
