The way your wedding turns out is entirely up to you. You can choose traditional or nontraditional, formal or informal, simple or extravagant. Or you can choose to add a personal touch that will make it unique. More and more people are striving to make their weddings memorable, by doing something new, something that has not been done before.



Here are a few creative wedding ideas that may inspire you to have at least one unique moment at your wedding:

- pass an empty journal book around the room at the reception and ask the guests to write down something they wish, whether it's a memory of the bride or groom, or of the couple, or maybe just a greeting or a wish or their impression of the wedding
- you can have real butterflies or doves released around you when you come out of the church after the ceremony; it is guaranteed to be a unique unforgettable moment
- take snap pictures of the guests as they arrive and have them sign them for you to keep them; alternatively you can sign and date the pictures and mail them to your guests as a reminder of the event
- ask your florist to add two detachable flowers to your bouquet and as you walk down the aisle stop and give one to your mother and the other to your future mother in law; it will make an emotional and unforgettable moment
- make your wedding favors unique by adding a hand written card to each favor bag; it is something personal and your quests will always remember it



- arrange for small bouquets or single flowers to be set on the table for each guest to take away when they leave; they will find this an adorable attention
- hire a caricaturist to do caricatures of the guests
- assign songs to each table and have your guests dance at their assigned song; this way you will make sure that all your guests will have danced at least one dance at your wedding; and you never know, once they feel the vibe they may not want to seat back down
- choose a theme close to the both of you like a time period (thirties, sixties), a movie, a sport, a place you met
- make a wedding website to keep all the guests informed about how your plans are going.
