It would be very unfair to say which is the best wedding planner book because those other wedding planner books will be offended; and I don’t want this. I’m just going to talk about some books that are aimed to reach a certain public, which is interested in wedding planning.
These books aim at teaching you how to plan a wedding in every possible way; from planning the budget to showing you how to choose the florist, the bakery and others. There are also specialized sites like theknot.com, which gives you all kinds of advice and ideas of how to be more efficient in planning your perfect wedding.
It is not the easiest job in the world, this wedding planning business, because it involves a lot of preparations and a lot of hopes are being put into this activity and that is why the result has to be breath taking. So, I’m going to give you an example of a wedding planning book: Wedding Planning for Dummies, which aims at those who have their first contact with this field of activity. I’m not saying that this is the best wedding planning book that there is, because it is not, this is an example of book that will teach you step by step how to plan your wedding from the most insignificant detail. This is the type of book dedicated to those who are at their first wedding planning; the book is very easy to read and it has all the important things emphasized in order for you to be extra cautious when you plan your wedding. For those who have a certain experience in this field, and need a wedding planning book in order to “upgrade” their knowledge, I recommend you check out Martha Steward’s Keepsake Wedding Planner. This is more than a book; it has valuable information and great pictures that can help you visualize settings and the decorum of certain banquet halls; and it also has different compartments where you can keep the business cards that you receive from vendors and others.
Also this is a very light weight book which makes it perfectly for you to take it anywhere you go. So, there you have it; a wedding planner book for the beginners and a wedding planner book for the advanced ones. Here are some book reviews that may be of help.
Take a sentimental journey and share a few laughs as you read Leslie Milk’s book, It’s Her Wedding but I’ll Cry If I Want To. This book is for any mother of a bride, past, present or future. Somewhere, in this diary of sorts, you will find a similar connection with author Leslie Milk’s own experience with her daughter’s wedding from engagement to reception party. She also writes other mother-of- the bride stories along with tips and suggestions to switch to plan B when Plan A doesn’t seem to be working. The reality checks at the end of each short chapter could have been omitted as they just didn’t tickle this reviewers funny bone. Makes a nice gift for any mother or surrogate mother of the bride.
