American Wedding Bachelor Party

What will be a wedding without a memorable bachelor party? Almost every couple before getting married has a bachelor party, actually two, both for the bride and the groom.

The organization of the party is usually the best man’s responsibility. There are no rules. The way he decides to do things is the way the party is going to be. This is a huge responsibility for the best man and he will surly need all the help he can get. Here are some ideas for what the bachelor party may have. For example you can place a karaoke system, make a poker championship, play soccer, carting, paintball or even golf if the space allows you. You can also go to a nightclub or rent a limo and make a tour of the city.

However, you should avoid doing the bachelor party before the wedding day. You should also rent a car that can stay to your disposition and that can bring the future groom to the party location. Try to find out what kind of party the groom wants. Do not rely on the fact that all he wants is to spend the last night of freedom in a strip club. If you want to have strippers at the party you better ask the groom how he feels about it because after the party he will have to face his bride. If he doesn’t want strippers, don’t force him. Sometimes the bachelor party becomes a motive of argument between the groom and the bride, and you may want to avoid that from happening. You should invite to the party only close friends of the groom to create a pleasant atmosphere.

Another great idea can be to do an outdoors bachelor party. You can program different outdoors activities such as camping, skiing, climbing and hiking, parasailing, skydiving, whitewater rafting, wakeboarding, snowboarding, hang gliding, bungee jumping, dirt biking, hunting and fishing. When the events you planned are about to end, you can sit around a fire and share stories about ex-girlfriends and college best adventures.

You may not want to have or to organize a wild bachelor party. But some people do. In the 2003 American Wedding movie there is a memorable scene, the American wedding bachelor party that you have to watch. If the future groom loves the American wedding bachelor party you can get some ideas from it. The American Wedding movie was made in 2003 and it presents the marriage of Jim, character played by Jason Biggs and Michelle, character played by Alyson Hannigan.

Another great movie that might inspire you is the 1984 Bachelor Party with Tom Hanks. This party has everything, music, dance, girls, games and the future bride spying.

I need to organize a bachelor party for my best friend. It’s a first for me. And for him. I needed some ideas and you gave plenty of them here. He doesn’t want strippers. I do. Is there really a problem? I guess it’s his party, not mine. Ok. I’ll go for a fishing expedition. Just the six of us best friends and the big fish. I just don’t enjoy this type of bachelor party. And it shouldn’t be just the groom who can have fun, should it? So, fishing trip for the groom and lots of bier for the rest of us. And at night we might just do as you suggested. A bonfire, frying the fish we caught and telling stories about old girlfriends. I hope the rest of the gang will have some fun ideas too.
